My Sega Saturn collection (PAL)

Thanks to @VariXx from Twitter I finally took the time to scan all my PAL Sega Saturn games, I will go for the Japanese ones next :) You can find the entire Saturn Collection here!

I haven’t been that fond of the Sega Saturn games since I got it a couple of years ago, but that’s probably because I have a lot of shitty games for it ;D And also I don’t really like the awkard beginning of 3D games, and the fact that they have to put “virtual” in almost any title ;D This is one of the reasons I only have 29 games for this system so far, but since I got the japanese saturn and tried out a bunch of puzzle games for that one, I’ve become more and more fond of the Saturn ^_^ I have another 25 games for the japanese Sega Saturn.

If anyone has any suggestions of good games (preferably platform, puzzle or 2D shooters ;D) for the Sega Saturn then please let me know! ^_^

I know a lot of people are fond of the Panzer Dragoon series.. but I just don’t feel it holds up today.. and I never played it when it came out :/

All my Famicom pickups from Tokyo game shops

Finally updated the Famicom Collection Library, and also the Famicom Collage with the 103 Famicom carts I acquired in Tokyo :)
It was not easy getting it all back home with a weight limit of 23kg for the suitcase and 10kg for the carry on, I had to send home 7 packages (all weighing less than 2kg, because then it will count as a “letter” and be muuuuuch cheaper) ;D

Now I’m up to 868 unique Famicom carts (986 in total counting doubles..). It’s getting hard to find stuff I don’t already have for the system…

All my Sega Master System games scanned!

The last two evenings I’ve kept myself busy scanning all my Sega Master System games! This mainly because I’ve only uploaded libraries of Nintendo and PC Engine games so far and thought it was Sega’s turn, and Sega Master System suits well now that Retro Gamer magazine has just had that system as their main headline in their latest issue ^^ And also since I know it would make theSegaDude happy ;D

I only have a few japanese Sega Master System games, maybe like 5 or so, the others are all PAL. So I just included the Japanese ones in the same collection list ^_^

Scanned all my Game Boy games! :D

Finally finished scanning and uploading all my Game Boy games! Many of them are boxed, but I’ve decided just to scan the cartridge to make it more symmetrical. So now the Game Boy Collection is up! :D In my Game Boy Collection all games are listed alphabetically with name, publisher and genre :)

New PC Engine games: Cotton, Toilet Kids, Download etc

So today I’ve been busy as well! I’ve updated the PC Engine libraries with all the new games I’ve acquired and also created a collage with all the thumbnail pictures of all my PC Engine scans. Check out the PC Engine collage! ^_^

And here are some of the new games I’ve added to the libraries:

Toilet Kids is something I just HAD to buy as soon as I saw it on the Famicom Blog! I mean, come on! It’s TOILET KIDS! And all the enemies are flying poops and butts! LOL! °( ^o^)°

Some other PC Engine games that I’m very happy with are Cotton, Download, Violent Soldier, Paranoia, Mr Heli no Daibouken, PC Denjin Punkic Cyborgs and all the other great shooters I’ve just uploaded to the library!! Zipang was a cool puzzle platform, kind of like Solomon’s Key. The cover art is ridiculously awkward and funny as well ^_^

I just realized today that there is something wrong with my first PC Engine console, otherwise I would have had that one connected to the computer so I could record some gameplay, so right now I only have the Duo that’s working and it’s too far from the computer for recording to be smooth.. but I will try to work something out soon so I can review some of these awesome games! :D

PC Engine Collection Update!

Got a lot of new games for the PC Engine, especially a lot of CD-ROM games now that i have a Duo! :D
So now I’ve split up the PC Engine Library into 2, HU-Cards and CD-ROM games.
