So I finally went and bought myself Super Back to the Future Part II for the Super Famicom! I have been wanting this game ever since I saw the AVGN episode Back to the Future ReRevisited and he explained that it was the only GOOD Back to the Future game released! haha
I found it complete and in nice condition on eBay, and lately I’ve been really into buying SFC games, so I just had to get this one ^_^
I tried it out a bit tonight and it was a fun game, and it looked really great! The music was also awesome ^_^ Compared to the other Back to the Future games that has been made for various systems this one was just so much better in every way! I can’t understand why it never got an overseas release..

The animations are just awesome ^_^ The only bad thing I have to say about it so far is that the controls are a bit stiff, but the game makes up for that in so many other ways :D

Wow, the graphic really do look very nice! And the case looks mint. I wish North American kids were as good at keeping their games as perfect as the Japanese do!
When I was a kid playing these 16-bit games for the first time I was really careful with them. Why are Genesis and SNES games and case so beat up all the time!

Great find! I have played Back to the Future 2 and 3 on Amiga and was not impressed to say the least. I love the movies though and still get a sense of nostaliga playing BTTF 2 today. This one, however, was unknown to me. Very different from the other releases. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome. I’m kicking myself for passing this one up at $22 for a mint copy many years back from an import shop, but I knew it was the best BTTF game back when GameFan magazine ran a glowing review with loads of screens. I think a friend of mine chose that awful Blues Brothers game over this back in the day and he was SO mad because he liked that film over BTTF2 and thought somehow that a game made from a film that would be a BAD game would be good! Ha!
